About the Instructors
Jodi Collins is a seasoned casting director, producer, talent manager, and creative consultant with over twenty years in the entertainment industry. Founder of JLC Entertainment Group, she specializes in representing and developing hybrid performers and writers, many of whom have held key roles on networks like HBO, Hulu, and ABC. Jodi is known for her expertise in scouting under-the-radar comedy talent, which has earned her a strong reputation in the field. She has championed talents like Michelle Buteau, Amy Schumer, and even discovered Kate McKinnon! Jodi's unique perspective merges alternative performance with commercial viability, making her a sought-after figure in the industry. As an Industry Consultant and On-Camera Workshop Advisor for Fable & Sow, she will provide insights and lead workshops for the Hudson Valley performing arts community. We are excited to have her as part of the FableFolk team!
Hampton Fluker is a storyteller, Shakespeare educator, ethical leadership practitioner and consultant, Certified Reiki Healer, and Activist Farmer. He received his BFA in Acting from Boston University and studied the classics extensively at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He received the Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence in Theatre for his performance in the 2019 Broadway revival of All My Sons by Arthur Miller, and currently recurs as Michael Goodwin on NBC’s Chicago Med.
As a Theatre Educator, he draws on his classical performance training to inspire BIPOC and Queer students to reclaim their voices and power within predominantly white institutions. He is thrilled to join forces with his wife, Ber, as Fable & Sow blossoms into a vibrant hub, nourishing the surrounding communities with food, medicine, and a welcoming place to call home.
