Fable & Sow Spring Semester Showcase

Monday, May 4th
7:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Join us for an evening of storytelling, craft, and community as Fable & Sow Theatre Farm presents our Spring Semester Showcase. Held at the beautiful Philipstown Depot Theatre in Garrison, New York, this gathering marks the culmination of months of dedicated work, deep inquiry, and creative exploration by our artists.

This showcase features performances from students in The Study, The Return, and The Door—three distinct training experiences rooted in the practice of ethical storytelling and the belief that acting is an act of relationship, not control. Throughout the semester, these artists have engaged rigorously with text, imagination, and one another, developing work that is alive, personal, and grounded in truth.

The evening will unfold as a shared experience, offering audiences a window into process as much as product. You can expect a range of performances including fully realized scenes, character-driven explorations, and monologues that reflect each artist’s unique journey. From first encounters with the craft to advanced conservatory work, the spectrum of voices represented speaks to the depth and inclusivity of our community.

At Fable & Sow, we are guided by the principles of the Fable Method, a practice that asks artists to engage their work with love, reciprocity, and ethical imagination. This showcase is not simply a performance, but a moment of witnessing—an opportunity to gather, to listen, and to be in relationship with story and one another.

We invite you to come as you are, settle in, and experience an evening that celebrates the courage it takes to stand in the light and share one’s work. This is a free event, offered in the spirit of accessibility and community, and we encourage you to bring friends, stay awhile, and be part of the world we are building together.
