The Room - The TV/Film Audition Intensive

$275.00

The Room is a two-day on-camera audition intensive for TV and film, taking place Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29, at The Grit Gallery in Newburgh.

Designed for actors looking to sharpen their on-screen audition skills and deepen their confidence in this space, this immersive weekend experience offers participants the opportunity to work with challenging, thoughtful material across both days, simulating real-world audition conditions in a focused, supportive environment.

The class is led by Jodi Collins, a well-known and respected casting director, talent manager, and coach, in collaboration with Fable & Sow’s Artistic Director Hamp Fluker, an award-winning stage and television actor and dedicated community member. Actors will receive direct, personalized coaching from Jodi Collins, with a well-rounded industry perspective that focuses on truthful performance, clear choices, and camera awareness, while gaining valuable insight into what casting directors are truly looking for in TV and film auditions and what to anticipate ‘in the room’.

The Room is more than a class—it’s a space for focused work, professional growth, and creative exchange based in safety & knowledge. Proudly brought to the lower Hudson Valley community by Fable & Sow Theatre Farm, this course invites actors to step into the room, do the work, and be seen.
