CANCELLATION, REFUND & REGISTRATION POLICY

Fable & Sow intentionally keeps many of our classes, workshops, and training experiences small. Registration reserves a place in the room and allows us to responsibly plan for faculty, space, programming, and the artists who will be working alongside you.

Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to balance flexibility and care for our artists with the sustainability of the work.

INDIVIDUAL COURSES & WORKSHOPS

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the first scheduled session are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made 3–6 days before the first scheduled session are eligible for either a 50% refund or a Fable & Sow tuition credit for the full amount paid. Tuition credits issued under this policy are valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation.

Cancellations made within 72 hours of the first scheduled session or after an offering has begun are non-refundable.

MISSED CLASSES & PARTICIPANT ABSENCES

Tuition covers enrollment in the full offering rather than attendance at individual sessions.

Missed classes, late arrivals, early departures, or other participant absences are not eligible for prorated refunds or tuition credits. Whenever possible, we ask participants to communicate with faculty in advance when they know they will be absent.

FOUNDING MEMBER COURSE CREDITS

If a Founding Member withdraws from an eligible offering at least 72 hours before the first scheduled session, any Core Course Credit or Studio Course Credit applied to that offering will be restored.

If withdrawal occurs within 72 hours of the first scheduled session or after the offering has begun, the applied membership credit is considered used and will not ordinarily be restored.

Any additional tuition paid beyond the membership credit remains subject to the cancellation and refund terms above.

IF FABLE & SOW CANCELS OR RESCHEDULES AN OFFERING

If Fable & Sow cancels a course or workshop, participants will receive a full refund of tuition paid for that offering. Any Core Course Credit or Studio Course Credit applied by a Founding Member will be fully restored.

If an offering is rescheduled and the new schedule prevents a participant from attending, Fable & Sow will provide an appropriate refund, restored membership credit, or tuition credit.

A participant will not lose tuition or an applicable membership credit because Fable & Sow was unable to provide an offering as scheduled.

FOUNDING MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

Founding Membership is a $900 annual commitment payable in 12 monthly installments of $75. The monthly payment schedule allows the annual commitment to be paid over time and does not constitute a month-to-month membership.

A new Founding Membership may be cancelled within 7 calendar days of enrollment, provided the member has not used a Core Course Credit, Studio Course Credit, Audition Coaching Credit, Member Tuition registration, or another substantive membership benefit.

Once a membership benefit has been used, or once the 7-day cancellation period has passed, the 12-month membership commitment remains in effect and scheduled payments remain due.

MEMBERSHIP PAUSES

Founding Members may request a temporary membership pause when circumstances require time away from the studio.

Approved pauses suspend monthly billing and access to membership benefits. The membership end date is extended by the corresponding period so that the member retains the full 12 months of active membership.

Generally, membership may be paused for up to two months total during a membership year. Additional accommodations may be considered in extraordinary circumstances.

Membership pauses must be approved by Fable & Sow and cannot be applied retroactively.

EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES

We understand that life does not always follow a schedule.

Illness, family emergencies, significant changes in circumstance, and other unexpected events may sometimes require additional consideration. Exceptions to this policy may be considered individually and at Fable & Sow’s discretion when circumstances warrant additional care.

We ask participants to communicate with us as early as reasonably possible. Consideration of an exception does not guarantee a refund, tuition credit, restored membership credit, or release from a membership commitment.

PAYMENT METHODS & REFUND PROCESSING

This policy applies regardless of the payment method or platform used to register.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever possible. Once an approved refund has been issued by Fable & Sow, processing times are determined by the participant’s bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

FABLE & SOW TUITION CREDITS

Tuition credits issued under this cancellation policy are:

Valid for 12 months from the date they are issued.

Applicable toward eligible Fable & Sow courses or workshops.

Non-transferable and have no cash value.

Tuition credits issued through this cancellation policy are separate from the Core Course Credits and Studio Course Credits included with Founding Membership and cannot be converted into membership credits.

If the tuition for a future offering exceeds the available tuition credit, the participant is responsible for the remaining balance.

QUESTIONS & CANCELLATION REQUESTS

Questions about cancellations, refunds, membership pauses, or tuition credits should be directed to Fable & Sow as soon as possible.
