The Healing Studio

The Healing Studio offers Reiki-informed healing sessions, guided meditation, grounding practices, and embodied restorative care for individuals seeking stillness, reconnection, and nervous system support. Alongside private sessions, The Healing Studio partners with guest practitioners and organizations throughout the Hudson Valley to offer seasonal workshops, restorative gatherings, and masterclasses in the healing arts.

This work is inspired by the traditions of Reiki and the teachings of Malidoma Patrice Somé, author of Of Water and the Spirit. Healing here is not a performance or an escape, it is a return to presence, breath, and relationship with the body.

Core Healing Offerings

The Healing Studio is a restorative healing practice led by Hamp Fluker, informed by his training as a certified Reiki practitioner and Shinpiden Master Teacher in the Usui Shiki Ryōhō tradition. Rooted in laying of hands, meditation, embodied listening, and relational care, this work is also shaped by years of experience in theatre, ethical leadership, farming, and community building, alongside the spiritual teachings of Malidoma Patrice Somé and Sobonfu Somé.

Sessions are approached collaboratively and intuitively, allowing space for stillness, breath, reflection, and rest. Participants are invited to arrive exactly as they are. All sessions take place inside Fable & Sow's Center Down Room at The Grit Gallery in Newburgh, New York.

The Healing Studio does not replace licensed medical or mental health care, but offers a supportive space for restoration, reflection, and care.
