The Core Curriculum
Recurring Fall & Spring Ten-Week Courses
Five long-form courses, rotating each Fall and Spring, built for actors at every stage of development.
Registration for our Fall Semester Opens in Late August.
The Study
An advanced scene study conservatory exploring ethical storytelling, emotional athleticism, rigorous character investigation, and ensemble practice through The Fable Method.
The Return
A foundational acting class for artists of all levels, exploring The Fable Method alongside a return to the craft through presence, listening, imagination, and truthful human behavior, while serving as a prerequisite for entry into The Study.
The Playground
A weekly improvisational practice centered on spontaneity, ensemble connection, short-form games, long-form storytelling, and the freedom of play.
The Verse
A classical acting and leadership intensive investigating language, rhetoric, power, and human consequence through the great plays and poets of the theatrical canon.
The Agreement
An advanced improvisation laboratory exploring imaginative world-building, invisible space, theatrical pressure, and collaborative storytelling, where students are also invited to develop and experiment with original improvisational forms of their own creation.

The Summer Screen Series
From July through August, Fable & Sow shifts its focus to television and film, on-camera training, audition technique, self-taping, and industry workshops led by working professionals and guest artists.
Registration opens in June.
