Whether you are preparing for an audition, filming a self-tape, building confidence in the room, or reconnecting to your craft, Fable & Sow Theatre Farm offers personalized coaching rooted in preparation, curiosity, and truthful storytelling.

How We Work

BOOKING:

Submit an inquiry form or email hampfluker@fableandsow.com directly. Once we confirm your preferred time, pricing, and material needs, you'll receive an invoice to complete your booking. Hamp responds within 3 hours. Kaley and Jodi's sessions are coordinated through Fable & Sow and confirmed within 12 hours.

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

Tea, water, professional coaching, experienced acting coaches as your readers, professional lighting, backdrop, and a creative space to work. Unless otherwise requested, all self-tape sessions take place in The Centering Down Room at The Grit Gallery in Newburgh, NY, and are filmed on iPhone.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY:

iPhone, makeup, hair, wardrobe, and audition material (sides, copy of script, any character notes). Unless explicitly stated otherwise during your booking inquiry, these elements are the responsibility of the actor.

PROFESSIONAL CAMERA EQUIPMENT:

For an additional $75 fee, we can utilize professional equipment through Dying Industry Films, which includes professional editing and delivery of your material. Requests for professional equipment must be submitted at least five business days in advance.

Work With Hamp

Hamp is a series regular on AMC's The Terror and recurs as Michael Goodwin on NBC's Chicago Med, with over ten years of on-camera experience across major networks. He received the Dorothy Loudon Award for his Broadway work in All My Sons. As your coach, he combines script analysis, embodied storytelling, and real industry knowledge to help you enter the room—or film—with clarity and confidence. His approach centers on removing obstacles between you and authentic performance, so your best self comes through on camera.

  • 45 min @ $100 Work with Hamp in person at The Grit Gallery in Newburgh, New York. Sessions include coaching, reader support, and self-tape filming with professional lighting and backdrop provided

  • 45 min @ $75 Receive live virtual coaching and reader support while filming remotely. Sessions focus on storytelling clarity, preparation, on-camera adjustments, and truthful connection in the work.

  • 90 min @ $140 A restorative self-tape experience integrating healing work, coaching, and audition preparation. Includes 30-minute Reiki session, 45-minute coached self-tape session, reader support, filming, tea, and grounding debrief.

  • Sliding Scale $75–$150/hour Designed for students preparing for college, conservatory, and performing arts auditions. Sessions may include monologue selection, contemporary and classical text work, audition coaching, prescreen preparation, self-tape filming, interview preparation, confidence building, and audition organization practices. These sessions help students strengthen both technique and authenticity while preparing for competitive audition environments. The goal is not simply to help students get in, but to help them move through the process with preparation, self-awareness, and trust in their own artistic voice.

Work with Jodi

Jodi Collins is a casting director and talent manager with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She's discovered and championed emerging talent across comedy, theatre, and television, with clients holding series-regular and staff-writer positions at HBO, Hulu, ABC, and more. Working with Jodi means getting direct access to how the industry actually thinks, what casting directors look for, how to position yourself, and how to navigate the audition landscape with strategy and confidence.

  • 45 min @ $100 Jodi will help you prepare for an upcoming TV/Film audition virtually.

  • 45 min @ $125 Navigate self-taping, representation, audition strategy, and next steps in your career. Jodi Collins offers expert guidance to help actors understand the industry and move forward with clarity. Sessions are coordinated through Fable & Sow.

Work with Kaley

Kaley Ronayne is a series regular on FOX's The Resident with credits across Hulu, Disney+, NBC, and CBS. She teaches actors to read scripts like screenwriters, breaking down Film and TV material in ways that unlock your unique choices. Working with Kaley means getting practical, on-set wisdom paired with a teaching style that prioritizes your creativity over perfection. Her clients regularly book roles on shows like Grey's Anatomy, Ozark, and Law & Order.

  • 45 min @ $100 Kaley will coach you, serve as your reader, and film your self-tape at her studio space in Brooklyn, NY. Professional lighting and backdrop provided.

  • 45 min @ $75 Kaley will virtually coach you and serve as your reader for your self-tape.

Our self-tape studio at The Grit Gallery is designed to feel like a creative space where you can do your best work. With warm brick walls, natural light, and comfortable seating, it's an environment built for focus and ease. As both our healing room and creative studio, this multipurpose space holds a calm, grounded energy—a place where you can relax into the work and let your authentic self come through, whether you're preparing for an audition or seeking restoration.

DYING INDUSTRY FILMS STUDIO

Our partnership with Dying Industry Films offers a second creative option for self-tape work. This studio space features professional-grade lighting, camera equipment, and technical support designed for actors seeking a more formally produced aesthetic. With careful attention to camera placement, lighting design, and technical precision, this environment is ideal for projects requiring broadcast-quality submissions or when you prefer a more structured filming setup.

An additional $75 fee applies, which includes professional editing and delivery of your material.
