Fable & Sow Theatre Farm is a multidisciplinary arts and agricultural ecosystem rooted in ethical stewardship. We nourish our community by offering medicinal herbs, nutritious produce, educational programming in the arts and agriculture, and artist residencies centering BIPOC and Queer theatre-makers.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

We acknowledge that Fable and Sow Theatre Farm is situated on the unceded ancestral homelands of the Munsee-Lenape, Schaghticoke, and Mohican peoples.

We recognize that this land was taken through colonization and that Indigenous communities continue to live, work, and care for this region today. We also recognize that the land we now steward was cultivated and shaped in part through the forced labor of enslaved African people. Their knowledge, resilience, and unrecognized contributions are part of this land's history.

We offer this acknowledgment as a starting point and commit to ongoing learning, relationship-building, and accountability in how we live and work on this land.
