What is the Founding Membership?

Founding Membership is for artists who want an ongoing relationship with Fable & Sow throughout the academic year.

Membership is $75 per month for 12 months and includes one eligible Core Curriculum course each semester, two $100 Studio Credits, one private audition coaching session, additional coaching discounts, priority access to select programming, and a free Fable & Sow Glass or Mug.

How much does membership cost?

$75 per month, paid in 12 monthly installments.

Founding Membership is a one-year commitment.

Is my Core course included?

Yes.

Your membership includes one eligible Core Curriculum course in Fall 2026 and one eligible Core Curriculum course in Spring 2027.

There is no additional tuition for your included Core course.

Which Core course can I choose?

You may choose one eligible Core Curriculum course each semester, subject to course availability and eligibility.

Some advanced courses may have prerequisites, placement requirements, or an application process.

What if I only want to take one class and don't want a membership?

You do not need to become a member to train at Fable & Sow.

Every course has a Standard Tuition price. If you want to take a course without making a yearlong commitment, simply register at Standard Tuition.

Standard Tuition = I want to take this class.

Membership = Fable & Sow is where I train.

Can I take more than one Core course in the same semester?

Yes, subject to course availability and eligibility.

Your membership includes one Core course each semester. Any additional Core course is registered for separately at its Standard Tuition price.

What are Studio Credits?

Founding Members receive two Studio Credits during their membership year, each valued at up to $100.

Studio Credits may be used toward eligible Studio Courses, Workshops, and Select Programming.

Studio Credits cannot be stacked or combined toward a single program.

Do my Studio Credits expire?

Studio Credits are available during your active membership year and should be used before the end of that membership period.

Is audition coaching included?

Yes.

Founding Membership includes one private audition coaching session, valued at $150, which may be redeemed during your membership year.

Do I receive discounts on additional coaching?

Yes.

Members receive $50 off additional eligible private coaching and self-tape sessions during their membership year.

Does membership guarantee me a place in any course I choose?

No.

Membership includes one eligible Core course each semester, but enrollment remains subject to availability, course eligibility, and any applicable placement or admission requirements.

Membership does not override class caps or admission requirements.

What happens if my first-choice Core course is full?

We will work with you to identify another eligible Core course with available space.

Because some courses are intentionally capped, we encourage members to select and register for their Core course early.

What if I don't use my included Core course?

Your included Core course is a semester benefit and does not convert to cash or a tuition refund if unused.

Can I save my Fall Core course for Spring?

No.

Membership includes one eligible Core course for Fall and one for Spring. Included Core courses cannot be stacked, transferred between semesters, or exchanged for cash value.

Can I transfer my membership benefits to someone else?

No.

Membership benefits, included courses, coaching, and credits are issued to the individual member and are not transferable.

Can I pause my membership?

Approved membership pauses stop monthly payments and extend the membership term by the corresponding period.

Pauses should be arranged directly with Fable & Sow so that course and benefit eligibility can be confirmed.

Why become a member instead of paying Standard Tuition?

Standard Tuition is designed for artists who want the flexibility to take a course without a yearlong commitment.

Founding Membership is designed for artists who know they want Fable & Sow to remain part of their training throughout the academic year.

For $75 per month, membership includes one Core course each semester, two $100 Studio Credits, one private audition coaching session, additional coaching discounts, and priority access to select programming.

When does the Fall Conservatory begin?

The Fall 2026 Conservatory begins September 28.
