A Year in the Studio

Twelve monthly installments of $75

Fable & Sow’s Founding Membership is designed for artists who want an ongoing relationship with the studio and a sustained home for their practice.

Founding Members aren’t simply enrolling in individual classes. They’re joining us for a year of rigorous training, continued practice, experimentation, collaboration, and artistic community.

Membership begins when you enroll, and you can access membership benefits immediately.

YOUR MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES

CORE

One CORE Course Included Each Semester

Your Founding Membership includes one eligible CORE Curriculum Course in Fall 2026 and one eligible CORE Curriculum Course in Spring 2027 at no additional tuition.

Course enrollment is subject to availability, course eligibility, and any applicable admission or placement requirements.

Your membership includes one CORE course each semester. Additional CORE courses may be taken at Standard Tuition.

EXPLORE

Two $100 Studio Course Credits

Founding Members receive two Studio Credits during the membership year, each valued at up to $100.

Studio Credits may be applied toward eligible Studio Courses, workshops, and select programming throughout the year. Members may also apply an available Studio Credit toward an eligible private coaching session.

Studio Credits cannot be stacked or combined. Studio Credits cannot be applied toward CORE Curriculum Courses.

COMING TO THE STUDIO

Your Studio Credits are designed to give you room to explore throughout your membership year.

Alongside our current Studio Courses, new intensives, workshops, and limited run experiences will continue to be released throughout the year.

The Fall Screen Series

The Frame, The Edit, and The Set return this fall, with additional opportunities to investigate the craft and demands of acting for the camera.

The Cave Game™

Created and developed by Hamp Fluker

The Study on steroids, with a twist. For the brave.

A curated, coached, and deeply immersive advanced acting experience built around ensemble, endurance, rehearsal pressure, emotional athleticism, and play.

Maximum 10 actors. Ideally 8. Limited space. Admission by audition.

The Woven Ones™

Created and developed by Hamp Fluker

Inspired in part by Jon Lipsky’s Dreaming Together: Explore Your Dreams by Acting Them Out and Malidoma Patrice Somé’s Of Water and the Spirit.

A devised theatre and ethical leadership intensive exploring dreams, memory, image, ritual, imagination, community, and collective authorship.

The Collision Series: Baldwin & Basquiat

Created and developed by Hamp Fluker

Inspired by James Baldwin’s Giovanni’s Room and selected writings, alongside the visual language and artistic practice of Jean-Michel Basquiat.

A seven-session scene study and actor training intensive exploring desire, identity, contradiction, rhythm, disruption, and what lives beneath the words.

Through sustained scene work, actors will build, dismantle, and return to their material through listening, pursuit, impulse, behavior, and play, allowing Baldwin and Basquiat to collide with the craft and open new ways of seeing the work and themselves.

An invitation to hold the craft less preciously and discover just how beautiful it can be.

Improv Throughout the Year

Additional improv courses, jams, intensives, and ensemble experiences led by Connor Bond will continue throughout the membership year.

And more is growing. Guest artists, specialty intensives, returning Studio favorites, and new offerings will continue to be announced throughout the year.

For Founding Members: Studio Credits may be applied toward eligible Studio Courses once registration for each offering is released. Credit eligibility will be clearly noted at the time of registration. Admission to audition-based offerings requires acceptance before a Studio Credit may be applied.

Member Benefits + Private Coaching

All Founding Members receive one complimentary private audition coaching session per year, valued at $150.

Members also receive $50 off additional private coaching, audition, and self-tape sessions during their membership year.

Founding Members also receive priority access to select Fable & Sow programming and opportunities throughout the year.

We’re keeping member registration personal and simple during our Founding year.

For CORE courses, we’ll confirm your membership, course eligibility, and availability and reserve your place.

For Studio Courses, workshops, and coaching, let us know if you would like to apply an available Studio Credit. We’ll confirm your benefits and send an invoice for any remaining balance.

Please do not purchase Standard Tuition through an individual CORE course page if you intend to use your included CORE course benefit.

YOUR MEMBERSHIP TERM

12 Monthly Installments of $75

Your first $75 installment is charged when you enroll. Your remaining 11 installments are billed monthly from your enrollment date.

$900 Annual Commitment

Monthly billing does not make Founding Membership month to month. By enrolling, you are committing to the full $900 annual membership.

Fall 2026 Conservatory begins September 28.

A FEW IMPORTANT DETAILS

Included CORE Courses

Membership includes one eligible CORE Curriculum Course in Fall 2026 and one eligible CORE Curriculum Course in Spring 2027.

Included CORE courses are subject to availability, course eligibility, and any applicable admission or placement requirements.

Included CORE courses have no cash value, are non-transferable, cannot be stacked or transferred between semesters, and cannot be exchanged for Studio Credits or other programming.

If you choose not to use your included CORE course during a semester, its value does not roll forward to another semester.

Studio Credits

Studio Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and must be used during your membership year.

Each Studio Credit is valued at up to $100 and is used as a single credit. Studio Credits cannot be split across multiple purchases or stacked together for a single program. Any unused value after a Studio Credit is applied does not carry forward.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

We understand that plans change. Cancellations made 7 or more days before the first session of an individual offering are eligible for a full refund of any separately paid tuition, minus any non-refundable processing fees.

Cancellations made between 72 hours and 7 days before the first session may receive either a 50% refund of separately paid tuition or a full Fable & Sow tuition credit valid for 12 months.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the first session or after classes have begun are non-refundable.

If Fable & Sow cancels an offering, any separately paid tuition will be fully refunded and any applicable Studio Credit will be restored. If a member’s included CORE course is canceled, Fable & Sow will work with the member to identify another eligible CORE opportunity.

Pausing Your Membership

For members who have completed at least one full semester, membership pauses can be considered on a case-by-case basis. For more information about membership pauses, please reach out to info@fableandsow.com.

A pause does not guarantee cancellation or reduction of the remaining balance of the annual membership commitment.

Programming

Fable & Sow’s classes, workshops, faculty, schedules, and programming may evolve throughout the membership year.

If an eligible offering changes or becomes unavailable, we will work to provide an appropriate opportunity to use the applicable membership benefit during the membership period.

ADULT CONSERVATORY

Fable & Sow’s Acting Studio programming is open to artists 21 years of age and older.

Our conservatory engages seriously with human behavior, relationships, conflict, power, intimacy, identity, and consequence. Certain courses, including The Study, The Return, and The Verse, may explore mature adult themes and material as part of the artistic work.

Following registration for any class or workshop, participants will receive Fable & Sow’s Adult Participation & Studio Acknowledgment by email. This document must be reviewed and signed before participating in the first class or workshop.

MEMBERSHIP ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By enrolling in Founding Membership, you acknowledge that you are entering a 12-month membership commitment totaling $900, payable in 12 monthly installments of $75.

Monthly billing does not make Founding Membership a month-to-month membership. Pausing or discontinuing participation does not automatically eliminate your remaining financial commitment.

By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have reviewed and agree to the Founding Membership terms described on this page, including the terms governing included CORE courses, Studio Credits, membership benefits, cancellation policy, and payments.
