The Summer Screen Series
The Journey
All Summer Screen Series offerings are active conservatory experiences. Students should expect to be on their feet throughout each session, participating in scene work, filmed exercises, discussion, and practical application. Just as importantly, every actor is expected to actively observe and support the work of their fellow artists through thoughtful feedback, generous collaboration, and engaged participation. At Fable & Sow, we believe some of our greatest growth happens not only while we are performing, but while learning to watch, listen, and help elevate the work of others.
Whether you're stepping in front of the camera for the first time or already working professionally, each intensive is designed to meet you where you are while challenging you to grow.
Each intensive focuses on a different stage of the actor's screen process and may be taken individually or as part of a complete training experience.

The Frame — Perform truthfully for the camera.

The Edit — Learn to evaluate and strengthen your own work.

The Set — Bring those skills into a professional production environment.
On-Camera Performance Intensive

Investment: $65
Sides will be provided, or students can bring in their own scenes. The Students will serve as eachother’s readers.
Spend an immersive afternoon exploring truthful screen performance through coached scene work and filmed exercises. Actors will receive individualized coaching while developing practical skills for auditions, self-tapes, and professional production.

Playback & Audition Intensive

Participants will review footage from The Frame or bring their own self-tapes, auditions, reels, or callbacks for guided feedback. Together, we'll strengthen the ability to evaluate performances objectively while refining both artistic and technical choices.
